● Test your memory recall. You can test your loved one’s memory recall by simply having them to memorize lists. Then after an hour or so, test to see how much of it they can remember. It is a great way to not only improve upon their short-term memory, but also track signs of decline.
● Try something new. A more adventurous approach to giving your loved one’s brain a workout is by encouraging them to learn something new. Some things to try can be learning to cook, studying a foreign language or learning to play a musical instrument.
